Oxychick | I just learned that I have 5 grand trines in my chart (if Chiron is included, otherwise it's 4) Sun Trine Asc. Trine Pluto Mercury Trine Asc. Trine Pluto Mars Trine Asc. Trine Pluto Midhaven Trine Asc. Trine Pluto Venus Trine Saturn Trine Chiron Just thought that was cool. But my question is... I took a look at a few of my friends' charts and it looks like they have what might be Grand Squares (if there is such a thing). There are large red squares across the charts. What would that mean? ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
Mercy | Hey Oxy, In short Square aspects are challenging for the individual, making a given situation (depending on the planets squaring) harder to cope with although there is an enormous creative force behind it. And Trines are harmonious aspects but also have the tendency to make you lazy as everything goes easy. Someone else??? |
MARY | Hi Mercy, What if you have more than one of these aspects... grand trine,cross,T-square. Is it a bad thing?
|
Mercy | I think somebody else can better answer this. Nothing is 'bad' though in my eyes. It is obviously something you need to solve in this life. Something you chose to work on. It being squares, trines or whatever. I see Trines as something like a reward for the behaviour from the past not that the difficult aspects are necessarily a curse or punishment. I see them more as being an opportunity. It could be something you have neglected in the past but it could be a new swing for something you already did but then in a different light. <Yeah, you go and ask Mercy a question and you will get a vague answer back > Anyway, just wanted to say that please don't see it as bad or good. As it is all about finding balance. Geez, I had so much to say on this but whenever I try and write it down all my thoughts seemed to have flown away. Gotta do it fast or otherwise... Someone else want to come and give MARY an answer? Blessings! |
Oxychick | What is a Cross or T-Square? (I had a wooden T-Square in high school for Technical Drawing...) ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
Cate | Hi Oxychick, What is the birth info for you and your friend, please? I need to see the big picture. Many people confuse Kites for Grand Trines... I will explain once I see the charts. As well, I will go into more depth about T-squares and Grand Squares. Good question. |
Oxychick | Hi Cate, Thanks so much! ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
